Garlic


Garlic is known as the most useful natural remedies of all time. Superior health benefits of this plant are challenging modern medicine. Sulfur compounds that are in garlic are so powerful that can kill various sorts of viruses, bacteria’s, mold parasites and other threats. Also, these compounds can improve body’s vital systems, such as the digestive, immunological, circulatory, and cleansing. It can lower blood pressure, and so on. Medical uses of garlic can be found in various historical facts – workers that were engaged for constructing of Pyramids in ancient Egypt, were fed mainly on onion and garlic. In wars, garlic was used to control infections in heavy wounds. And do not forget that garlic is deathly weapon against vampires.


Beside this medical benefit of garlic, it can be used as excellent culinary spice. It can be used/eaten cooked of raw. Garlic can be used as a spice in soups, sauces, salads and other. It can be used sliced thin, cut into piece, whole or grinded. Old garlic can be recognized by green sprout that grows. Curve out this green sprout to avoid any bitter taste. Also do not to leave the stove when sautéing garlic, burned garlic is very bitter, indigestible and the entire sauce is irremediably spoiled.
But garlic isn't a perfect plant. It is not just about from garlic breath. There are other possible negative side effects. If you consume raw garlic, it could produce problems, for example irritation of or damage to the digestive tract. Also some people are allergic to garlic. Symptoms of garlic allergy are similar to other type of allergy - skin rash, headaches and temperature. Also, garlic could potentially disrupt anti-coagulants, so if you are going to have surgery, do not consume garlic.
